ES3000 in Aurubis Bulgaria

We tested ES3000 in Bulgaria’s largest factory – metallurgical plant of Aurubis in Pirdop.

Following invitation of factory’s shunting operator - Port Rail, we delivered ES3000 on our specialized platform wagon. We performed full-scale tests in real industrial environment. Our goal was to prove locomotive’s quality and reliability in harsh environment under 24/7 work schedule.

ES performed brilliantly and it fully replaced old LDH1250 locomotive during the tests. We registered 5 times less energy expenditure compared to the old loco.

Our battery shunters are very practical solution to almost every shunting yard. Usually industrial shunting works are slow, with frequent starts and stops. This is where regeneration of energy back to batteries makes our shunters so efficient.
